The following steps tell you how to remove the release bearing from the bearing cage
- Insert the flat tip of the screwdriver between the release bearing and the release bearing cage.
- Compress bearing down to pressure plate.
- Turn the screwdriver 90° to loosen the release bearing from the cage.
- Pull the release bearing straight out of the bearing cage.
